During his years at SvD, Ivar Arpi has been one of the magazine's most read and noticed editorial writers.

But now he chooses to leave the newspaper, and announced the news to his followers on social media.

Where it carries next, however, is not clear, but in the post, Arpi looks back with warmth on the years in the newspaper and with colleagues:

“I have been looking forward to going to work.

If only because we have laughed to catch up almost every morning meeting.

When I look back on these seven years, it is above all the warmth I remember.

Now I sit here alone in an empty office and write my last leader.

I look forward to the next challenge.

Thank you for this time, SvD ", he writes.

"Need a new challenge"

In an interview with Göteborgs-Posten, Arpi says that he has received several new job offers and clarifies why he is leaving SvD now:

- Some reasons really.

You develop with different jobs.

No matter how good you are, you want to continue to develop.

I hope to be able to do that as a writer where I land now.

It has nothing to do with me being dissatisfied with the workplace I leave.

I just need a new challenge, he says to GP.
