On November 30, a reporter from Sichuan News Network learned from the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government website that the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government issued a reply regarding the assessment of Tang Chao as a martyr. According to Article 8, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Commendation Regulations, the provincial government assessed Tang Chao as a martyr.
Tang Chao, male, Han nationality, was born in October 1983 in Chuanshan District, Suining City. He was a driver of Suining Harmony Taxi Co., Ltd. during his lifetime.
On March 15, 2019, when Tang Chao drove by the roadside of the Qiaoqu River in Chuanshan District Park, Suining City, he went down the river to rescue the girl who fell into the water.
Because the water temperature was too low and physically weak, he sacrificed heroically.
