Once again, both Comhem and Boxer risk losing the TV4 channels and C More, something that affects 2.1 million customers.

This is because Telia, which owns TV4, and Tele2, which owns Comhem, have not agreed on a new agreement.

The current agreement expires tonight.

- We will fight to the last to either extend the current agreement or get a new agreement in place, but unfortunately we are not close enough, says Joel Ibson, communications manager at Comhem / Tele2, to Expressen.

Old conflict taking on new momentum

As recently as December last year, the two parties agreed, but Comhem believes that TV4 does not want to extend the agreement, but has come up with a price increase they can not accept.

Charlie Forsberg, head of communications at TV4, writes in an SMS to Expressen that the price limits are in line with the commitments Telia took on when it bought TV4.

- It is remarkable that ComHem instead tries to round the frames by exploiting its size and threatening to put it out, which makes both their own customers and our viewers a pawn in the negotiation game.
