3 cloves of garlic a day achieve spacing ... The German police chief jokingly appeals to the officers!

German Federal Police Chief Dieter Roman has appealed to police workers to better protect themselves from infection with the Coronavirus, in light of the increasing number of infections recently.

Roman said jokingly: "You should eat three cloves of garlic a day, as this does not help fight the Corona virus directly, but it guarantees that no one gets close to you too much."

On Friday, Roman added in a video message to police officers that there are 136 employees who have recently tested positive for the virus.

According to Roman, 1,574 Federal Police officers are currently subject to quarantine as a precaution.

Roman warned: "If we fail, the light will be extinguished," indicating that federal police workers have a duty to stay healthy, "and this applies to the level of private dealing."

He added that this field includes risks to their work, calling on those working with him to say: "Avoid infection, also because of the potential long-term consequences."

And at the end of this week, the Federal Police helped provide 500 of its personnel to help implement the Corona rules in Berlin.
