This Friday, Joaquina, the adventurer of

Koh-Lanta

made the trip to Epernay (Marne) to see the episode of the game of TF1 alongside her former teammate Hadja.

“My place is with her, I wanted to be with her.

My family understands, ”added the Rhône baker.

Reached by phone Thursday, she expected a "complicated and moving" evening.

And for good reason: it was during this episode that Bertrand-Kamal said his farewell to the show.

A departure all the more heartbreaking as the thirty-something died in September, succumbing to a dazzling cancer.

Very popular with other candidates, he had become, over the course of the episodes, one of the public's most beloved figures.

"He was a sun, an extraordinary person, who made us smile on the camp, the fishing", greets Joaquina.

Bertrand-Kamal was therefore forced to leave the adventure after finishing last in the immunity test.

“At that moment, the sky fell on my head.

I never imagined he could lose, it hadn't even crossed my mind, ”says Joaquina who, that day, on the set, lost one of his closest allies in the game. .

"He would have deserved to go to the end ..."

“He comes out in a nice way,” she continues.

He had told us that he would rather go out like that than on a board having had all the votes against him.

But he would have deserved so much to go to the end… ”

At the end of the episode, it was Joaquina who was eliminated from the board.

Debriefing with

20 Minutes

, she says she had prepared to go out because she felt that the wind was not turning in her favor.

“I knew no one would have voted against Alix or Dorian.

It was out of the question that I put a vote on Brice or a former member of the green team, ”summarizes the one who tried to tip the votes against Lola.

“If Angélique had not won the immunity test, the situation would have been different.

It was she who, I think, would have gone out, ”Joaquina supposes.

The thirty-something however largely digested his departure.

“It's just a game,” she recalls.

The sad fate of Bertrand-Kamal reminds us that there are indeed much more important things.
