Alexandre Astier's Kaamelott fans will have to take their troubles patiently.

Sanitary conditions and government restriction measures pushed the distributor of the film to shift Kaamelott - First installment, without announcing a new date.

"Patience is a dish that is eaten without sauce", said Perceval in the teaser of

Kaamelott - First part.

And we will still have to be patient since, due to the restrictions suffered by cinemas with the health crisis linked to the coronavirus, the film's release has been postponed indefinitely, the distributor SND said on Monday.

A new postponement but no new date

Alexandre Astier announced last January that the film, adapted from the cult M6 series, would be released two months in advance.

Originally scheduled for October the film was to be brought forward to July.

But, in May, due to the coronavirus crisis, it had been postponed for the first time to the date of November 25.

For this second postponement, SND does not announce a date.
