The French government presented its draft budget for 2021 on Monday. It includes part of the recovery plan of 100 billion euros.

All this week, RFI illustrates this plan in several sectors concerned.

Publicity

Two billion euros will be dedicated to hydrogen and the emergence of a carbon-free hydrogen sector.

Over ten years, it is even seven billion euros that are put on the table.

A real boost for a sector that is still in its infancy in France.

However, without waiting for this plan, projects are already taking shape.

While currently, in France, almost all of the hydrogen is produced from hydrocarbons, in Bouin in the West, a plant will soon be set up to produce "green" hydrogen.

Report in Vendée.
