  On the 26th, "The Beauty of Chinese Context Freehand Brushwork-Wu Weishan Chinese Historical and Cultural Celebrity Sculpture Exhibition" hosted by the National Centre for the Performing Arts officially opened. The exhibition featured famous sculptors, curator of the National Art Museum of China, and vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association. Wu Weishan has created more than 70 sculptures of Chinese historical and cultural celebrities over 30 years.

These sculptures show the deep inner spirit and cultural heritage of Chinese culture by shaping the imagery of historical figures.

  Wu Weishan integrates sculpture art with traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting aesthetics, and uses Chinese aesthetics to express Chinese spirit.

  The magnificent and tranquil Lao Tzu he has portrayed, the hollow body is a metaphor for "empty cherishment", and the inner wall is engraved with "Tao Te Jing", which is called full of economy, allowing people to appreciate the essence of Chinese traditional culture and art.

The Li Bai robe he fashioned with flying sleeves and arbitrarily showed the poet's romantic feelings to the fullest.

The Lei Feng he portrayed with a smile on his face and a strutting head, became a sculpture familiar to primary school students and a model for promoting Lei Feng's spirit because he was selected as a primary school Chinese textbook published by the People's Education Press.

The Yang Zhenning he has portrayed is full of rational brilliance, and his high forehead is full of knowledgeable eyes, portraying a scientist's persistent spirit to explore the truth.

  In addition, Wu Weishan is committed to promoting the integration and mutual learning of Chinese and foreign cultures through sculpture art, and actively promoting Chinese culture to the world stage.

Among the sculptures exhibited in this exhibition, several works deliberately selected two Chinese and foreign artists from different periods, such as "On a Boat-The Encounter of Leonardo and Qi Baishi", where the two ends of the wooden boat are far apart Da Vinci and Qi Baishi looking forward; the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko and the Tang poet Du Fu in "The Gate of the Soul-Dialogue between Taras Shevchenko and Du Fu", through sculpture art Show the collision and blending of different cultures.
