  • On August 29, the Niçois Ilan won his ticket to the battles by performing “Les Feux d'artifice” by Calogero.

  • He moved the four coaches of the TF1 show to tears.

  • 20 Minutes

    met him.

Ilan is “almost 13” today.

The Nice college student was only “11 and a half” when he recorded his first appearance in

The Voice kids

, broadcast on August 29.

And it was at this young age that he made a real hit with the show's coaches.

He succeeded in moving Kendji Girac, Jenifer, Patrick Fiori and Soprano with his cover of

Feux d'artifice

, the piece by Calogero played during a tribute to the victims of the Nice attack.

Noticed and even shared by Christian Estrosi, the performance of the Riviera “kid” propelled him into the battles of the TF1 junior telecrochet.

To discover Saturday evening.

How did you get started on this adventure with “The Voice kids”?

I had already tried the castings and I had not succeeded.

I left some time past and this year I wanted to try again.

I said to myself: 'this is it, this time you have the vocal technique'.

Why did you choose to interpret Calogero's “Fireworks”?

I wanted to convey a beautiful message.

I was little when I heard it and, there, I remembered it.

When I listen to songs and it does something to me, I tell myself that it will do something to the audience.

I really like to provoke emotions.

It is a success.

During the blind auditions, you moved everyone.

Did you expect such effects?

I just thought the coaches were going to congratulate me.

They cried.

I felt weird, I didn't think it was going to affect them that much.

I felt like it was a dream.

I thought only one coach would turn around.

Why did you choose Soprano?

I like him because he is always in the emotion.

Since I was little, I have listened to his songs.

When he turned around, I hallucinated.

I was the happiest.

The rest is the test of battles.

But after the show ends, what do you plan to do?

I would like to make music my profession.

Later, I would like to be able to give small concerts or participate in musicals.

Generally speaking, I want to perform on stage.

And continue to go see Soprano, Calogero, Maitre Gims in concert.
