Collective Culture Bar-Bars

Uncertain future, complicated health protocols ... The Covid-19 will have been right at the Culture Bar-Bars festival this year.

The collective of the same name, which brings together nearly 500 bistros and café-concerts, announces the cancellation of its 19th edition scheduled for November 26 to 28.

The festive and musical event attracted more than 155,000 festival-goers last year in around fifty French cities (Paris, Nantes, Lille, Toulouse, Rennes, etc.).

"The situation worsening for the establishments, our board of directors did not see how to organize such an event in two months", explains, the death in the soul, the collective Culture Bar-Bars.

Instead of this highlight, the collective is planning "States General of the right to party in the territories" between 23 and 29 November.

"Debates, meetings with artists, professionals in the culture sector and our audiences will be organized within the establishments", explains the collective, very upset against the recent prohibition measures targeting its members.

The program is "in preparation".
