At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kasumigaseki, Tokyo, a fire alarm went off on the morning of the 25th, and there was a commotion that employees temporarily evacuated to the outdoors.

No fire was confirmed, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is investigating the cause, suspecting that the fire alarm is malfunctioning.

After 10 am on the 25th, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, the fire alarm on the first basement floor was activated, and with a siren sound, "A fire broke out. Please calm down and evacuate." Artificial voice announcements calling for evacuation from the building were heard all at once in the ministry.



An announcement was also made at the press club on the 3rd floor, and a foreign ministry official called on reporters to evacuate, saying, "This is not training."



Officials and journalists were informed that they had temporarily evacuated to the doorway on the first floor or outdoors, but soon no fire was confirmed.



The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is investigating the cause of the fire alarm, suspecting it may be malfunctioning.
