Guest of a special edition of Emilie Mazoyer's program "Musique!", The group, which is preparing to celebrate its 40 years of career at the Stade de France, evoked the funny projects of derivative products that have been submitted ... and that they did not always accept.

INTERVIEW

In almost 40 years of career, Indochina has made numerous tours, each with collector t-shirts.

But also other unexpected derivative products: boxers, teddy bears, fans ... The group has also launched an ephemeral boutique, in anticipation of their exceptional show at the Stade de France, on June 19, 2021. Guest of a special edition of the The

show,

the group reviewed the derivative products that they had refused, considered, or which they could steal the idea from other artists.

"Ah yes, yes, I like the idea," agrees Nicola Sirkis.

"A bank had offered it to us, but we refused," reveals the singer.

Then come the ideas of derivative products reserved for adults.

And in particular a great classic of rock groups, which we find at Rammstein, Motörhead and Marilyn Manson (and even at Mylène Farmer): the sextoy.

"So no, we didn't. But it can be funny," Nicola Sirkis considers.

"We had thought of condoms, but they have to be up to French standards, it's complicated. And, in the era of AIDS, you shouldn't laugh too much with that either."

No condoms on the program, therefore, but derivative products to be found in 2021, to celebrate the group's 40-year career.
