On the evening of September 19, at the opening concert for the 90th anniversary of the completion of the Shanghai Concert Hall, the symphony "Wuhan Twelve Gongs" composed by Tan Dun praying for Wuhan at the beginning of the epidemic made its offline China premiere.
Tan Dun introduced that all the 12 gongs used in the performance were shipped from Wuhan.
Choosing to use "gong" as the core of the whole work is not only to express the close connection between Wuhan and the world, but also to stimulate the soul with the sound of the gong and arouse people's reverence for nature.
