The images are truly impressive.
Onlookers strolling along the seafront in La Ciotat, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, were able to witness a spectacular meteorological phenomenon: the formation of a waterspout.

, the waterspout was observed this Sunday in the morning.
Fortunately, it did not do any material or human damage.
This meteorological phenomenon occurs the day after severe bad weather which swept through the south of France and caused the disappearance of several people in the Gard.
