China News Service, Yichang, September 19 (Shi Zhihong) The Intermediate People's Court of Yichang City, Hubei Province recently tried a case involving 48 persons including the defendant Lu Mou in accordance with the law, involving more than 46 million yuan. The underworld crime with the largest number of people since the struggle.
The public prosecution agency alleged that from 2010 to 2013, the defendant Lu organized women's prostitution in Lianhu District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province for illegal gains.
From September 2013 to November 2018, criminal organizations headed by Lu Mou illegally profited RMB 46,077,500 through illegal and criminal activities.
The public prosecution agency believes that the defendant Lu and others formed a relatively stable criminal organization, carried out many illegal and criminal activities in accordance with the organization's regulations and practices, obtained economic benefits, did evil, bullied and harmed the people, and formed illegal activities in a certain area or industry. Controlling or major impacts have severely disrupted the order of economic and social life, formed underworld organizations, and caused major and bad social impacts.
The criminal responsibility of the "black boss" Lu should be investigated for the crimes of organizing and leading underworld organizations, organizing and forcing prostitution, assisting in organizing prostitution, rape, and illegal detention.
During the trial, the prosecution and the defense conducted proof and cross-examination on the criminal facts of the prosecution, fully expressed their opinions on the facts of conviction and sentencing, evidence and the application of law, and launched court debates. The trial lasted for five days.
