The earth shook slightly on Thursday in Vendée.

A small earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was reported at 12:07 am exactly by the national seismic monitoring network.

The epicenter is about fifteen kilometers north of Challans, between Bouin and Bois de Céné.

The shock was felt as far as Loire-Atlantique, especially in Pays-de-Retz.

Enough to make Internet users react on the Climat Vendée Facebook page, which relayed the event.

"A big rumble with vibrations," wrote one of them.

"I initially believed in thunder or a plane but none of that," said another.

On July 6, the earth had already trembled in Vendée, due to a small earthquake of magnitude 2.6.
