A 16-year-old girl is investigated for a robbery-murder case at a station. Utsunomiya September 17, 14:50

On the morning of the 17th, a 16-year-old girl was struck by a young man near the toilet at a JR station in Utsunomiya City, threatened to pay money, and suffered a slight injury to her palm.

The man has escaped from the scene and police are investigating his whereabouts as a murder-robbery case.

Around 8:30 am on the 17th, a station employee at JR Okamoto Station in Utsunomiya City reported to the police that "there is a woman bleeding from her hands."



According to police, a 16-year-old girl was injured in her right palm and was treated at the hospital, but the degree of injury was minor.



According to the investigation so far, a young man pointed something like a utility knife near the toilet at the west exit of the station and threatened to pay.



After that, the man escaped without taking anything, and police are investigating the whereabouts as a robbery-murder case.



The site is located in a residential area about 7 km northeast of JR Utsunomiya Station, and is used by local residents for commuting to work or school during the morning hours.
