The jury, which includes 157 members of experts, specialists and educators, evaluates challenge competitors who have read and summarized 50 books over the past period, and tests their skills in summarizing, analyzing, concluding, comprehending cognitive content and extracting and presenting its most prominent results in an optimal manner, while evaluating other personal skills such as expressing ideas Concepts are explained and simplified.

Al-Muhairi stated that with this current health circumstance, the challenge kept pace with developments with flexibility and worked to overcome obstacles, whether for participants or arbitration committees by establishing electronic platforms for training, and using electronic platforms to provide reading materials for students, as well as replacing paper reading passports with the reading passports link. For her part, the Secretary-General of the Arab Reading Challenge Initiative, Mona Al-Kindi, said: “In this year's session of the Arab Reading Challenge, in which more than 21 million students from around the world participated, and set a new record as an Arab reading initiative that is the largest of its kind. »The advanced digital infrastructure at the state level in the participation of hundreds of thousands of students from various government and private schools in the UAE in the challenge, in conjunction with the application of distance learning options and other precautionary and preventive measures against the (Covid-19) pandemic in various educational systems around the world.

She added: “The number of schools participating in the current round of the Arab Reading Challenge has increased to more than 1,430 schools nationwide.
