If you were thinking of heading to the movies in a short-sleeved T-shirt to see

Wonder Woman 1984

, it might be time to reconsider your plans and opt for the puffer jacket.

Behind this friend's advice actually hides the decision made by Warner Bros to postpone the film's release date on the famous Amazon superheroine.

While the launch date was very close (September 30 in France), we will have to wait almost three more months.

The studio announced that the feature film directed by Patty Jenkins will finally be released on Christmas.

Exceptionally, this is the fourth postponement for this film, first supposed to be launched in December 2019, then in June, in August and finally in September 2020. Blame it on Covid-19, which leads American studios to push back the release of their blockbusters.

As a direct consequence of the late arrival of Diana Prince on the screens, other films should see their release postponed.

Distributed by the same studios,

Dune

, by Denis Villeneuve, will probably land in theaters next year.

This delay is also an opportunity to give

Tenet

all the chances across the

Atlantic, where Christopher Nolan's opus has not yet had the hoped-for success.
