The Emirate of Dubai launched a mobile mourning council to facilitate the offering of condolences at cemeteries.


The council is an air-conditioned vehicle, transported to cemeteries, in which it receives mourners on an area of ​​75 square meters, and the project was launched by the Dubai Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in cooperation with Dubai Municipality.


Essa Al-Ghurair, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, told reporters today, Saturday, that the new service comes as part of the efforts of the Dubai government to relieve those with condolences, and to facilitate the citizens and residents while offering condolences.


He pointed out that the Endowments and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai is keen to innovate in providing community services, as part of the government's plans to facilitate the lives of citizens and residents.


For his part, Ali Al-Mutawa, Secretary-General of the Foundation, said that the (Mobile Condolence Council) costs 500,000 dirhams, and the project aims to provide an innovative service to the mourners and mourners to relieve them and protect them from the high air temperature and facilitate the presentation of the duty of condolence in the cemetery.


He added that the Council has all the necessary electrical supplies to facilitate the users, in addition to that it is equipped with a thermal insulation that works with solar energy to protect from high air temperature, indicating that the reception of mourners in the Council is done with the application of all precautionary measures to prevent the emerging corona virus
