The writer and debater Cissi Wallin's controversial book Allt som var mitt has been published in Norway by Memo, despite the fact that the publisher has been sued by the person accused of raping Wallin.

- Cissi Wallin's book deals with and sheds light on the culture of silence surrounding rape and sexual harassment of girls and women, their encounter with the judiciary and the legal security of women in our society.

Therefore, this is a very important publication, says publisher Geir Lexow.

- We do not withdraw the book.

It would have been a loss for freedom of speech and Cissi Wallin's right to tell her own story.

Been sued

Lexow confirms that Memo has received the lawsuit from a Norwegian lawyer representing a Swedish client who demands that the book be withdrawn, and that the publisher issue a public apology.

Cissi Wallin was convicted in the autumn of 2019 of slander for naming a person she accuses of rape.

In the book, Wallin tells about how she came to Stockholm as a lost 20-year-old and how one night ruined her life for several years to come.
