The 20th China (Zibo) International Ceramics Fair opened on September 6 in Zibo, the porcelain capital of China, and the Japanese Kasama-yaki with a history of about 300 years was unveiled for the first time.

Kasama-yaki is an important genre of Japanese ceramic art, born in the 18th century in the Edo period.

A Kasama-yaki work exhibited at the scene gave the audience a feeling of deja vu.

According to reports, the creator of this work was inspired by Chinese paper-cutting art and transplanted Chinese paper-cutting decorative techniques into ceramic art.

The surface of the ware looks like a brocade box at first, but it is actually made of high-temperature ceramics.

Nowadays, the Japanese Kasama craftsmen admire the traditional style of work and the free creative atmosphere. On the basis of insisting on pure hand-made, adding a lot of modern aesthetic elements to design a variety of unique creative works.
