In the new cinema show of Europe 1, "Clap", a guest lends himself every week to a Chinese portrait around the cinema.

This Saturday, it is the actress Julie Gayet who answers this questionnaire of Proust version Seventh art.

INTERVIEW

Every Saturday for an hour in

Clap

, the European cinema specialist 1 Mathieu Charrier and his columnists take a tour of the news of the Seventh art.

Each week, a guest, whether or not from the world of cinema, submits to a Proust 7th art version questionnaire.

At the Angoulême festival, actress Julie Gayet agreed to participate in the Chinese portrait game.

Your first memory of cinema?

Bambi

, like many of my generation.

But immediately, I move on with

The King and the Bird.

I

think it was not far from the same time and maybe it was stronger.

Your best memory in the dining room?

It will remain

Star Wars.

I

'm the generation that saw the first

Star Wars

in theaters and it was a hit.

I liked the last ones too, but it's not the same anymore.

Harrisson Ford was my hero ...

Your worst memory in the gym?

It was in Cannes: people were leaving the room, it was "clack, clack, clack" throughout the film.

It was a Rivette, it was

La Belle Noiseuse

, and it was terrible.

Admittedly, the film was a bit long.

But it was violent!

I had a stomach ache for the actors and the director.

Your craziest movie screening?

I produced

Grave

, by Julia Ducournau.

It was the week of criticism, here in Angoulême and this session will remain engraved forever.

You have to see

Grave

to understand: some were hiding, some were doing "aaaaah".

When we produced, liked a film ... It was overwhelming.

And the applause at the end, I will always remember.

The film that you would have liked to see in the cinema?

Lawrence of Arabia

.

I don't know why, I've never seen him in the movies.

I love going to see the Lumières festival in Lyon, going to see old films, retrospectives.

But not

Lawrence of Arabia.

However, it should only be seen in the cinema

The movie you would like to live in?

I could live in a film by Emmanuel Mouret.

I acted in one of his films, which was called

A Kiss

,

Please

, and I felt

like

I was in my world.

The cult movie you've never seen?

No one is going to believe me, but I've never seen

Titanic

.

I have pictures, but I have never seen the film.

We can miss a great movie, it happens ...

The masterpiece you hate?

There was a Palme d'Or in Cannes which was

Fahrenheit

9/11

(by Michael Moore,

editor's note

).

I don't think it was deserved, it was in the political era, and that's what caused documentaries to be taken out of competition.

I understand the controversial point, but a palme d'or was perhaps excessive.

The movie that you are ashamed to love?

I love

Grease

, I know all the dialogue.

Lots of musicals by the way, why don't we dare say that we love musicals?

The most beautiful movie scene?

Any scene performed by Romy Schneider.

In

The Old Gun,

she upsets me, she is completely in it.

Any scene played by Jeanne Moreau too!

The modernity of Jeanne Moreau's game in

Jules et Jim

, in

Ascenseur pour l'Échafaud

.... And any scene played by Meryl Streep.

Only actresses, women.

Which movie have you seen the most?

I think it's about

-face

(by John Woo,

editor's note

).

I love action movies, Hong Kong movies, martial arts movies.

Tiger and dragon

, too.

Which movie made you laugh the most?

All Louis de Funès.

I put any Louis de Funès, I died laughing.

And Pierre Richard too, he's my idol.

Which movie made you cry the most?

There have been a few films where, for two hours later, I have trouble moving, like

Breaking the waves (

by Lars von Trier,

editor's note)

or

Suzanne

by Katell Quillévéré.

The dialogue that you know by heart?

It's difficult.

It would be a song, Jeanne Moreau in

Jules et Jim

: "She had rings on each finger, lots of bracelets around her wrists ..." As if the songs were dialogues.

Which movie would you recommend to your best friend?

I would say

Les Joueuses

, by Stéphanie Gillard, on women's football.

Everyone in the theater on September 9!

The soundtrack that struck you the most?

The joker

.

It's a woman who just won the Oscar for best soundtrack.

The film is very beautiful, but the music is masterful.
