The World Health Organization (
WHO
) said today that it is most likely that we will have to wait until mid-2021 for
mass
vaccinations
against
Covid-19 to take place
.
"Realistically, we do not expect to see mass vaccinations until the middle of next year," the organization's spokeswoman, Margaret Harris, told reporters today.
He specified that between six and nine vaccine candidates are in advanced stages of research, with a part of them in phase 3 of clinical trials.
