Sixteen cases of Covid-19 detected in a nursing home in Béziers

A cluster of Covid-19 has been detected in a nursing home in Béziers (Hérault): 16 positive cases have been identified at the Cascades retirement home (13 residents and three members of staff), the municipality of Béziers, whose center for social action manages the establishment.

“Two of the residents were hospitalized (…) but none is in intensive care, continues the city.

All residents, staff and their relatives continue to be tested (…) Measures had been taken to maintain family visits in strict compliance with the health instructions recommended ”by the Regional Health Agency.

Since August 24, this retirement home, like all nursing homes in Béziers, has been confined, in accordance with the requirements of the health authorities.
