Erick Morillo's body was found in Miami Beach.
The circumstances surrounding the death are unclear.
The death comes just weeks after Morillo, 49, was arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a woman.
Morillo has consistently denied the allegations.
Morillo has been active as a DJ and producer for over 30 years.
He is best known for the hit song "I like to move it" from 1994. The song, which he released under the artist name Reel 2 Real, was also given new life in 2005 when the song had a central location in the Disney movie Madagascar.
