  According to the deployment of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, more than 300 people will be organized to conduct on-site investigations on the Huangshui River and the Gansu section of the main stream of the Yellow River. The investigation scope covers 2 provinces and 6 cities including Lanzhou, Baiyin and Linxia in Gansu Province, and Xining, Haidong and Haibei in Qinghai Province. (State), plans to spend 7 to 10 days to fully check the number of sewage outfalls in the pilot area, and explore the formation of suitable models and methods for the Yellow River Basin, so as to promote the investigation and remediation of sewage outfalls in the entire Yellow River Basin.

  This investigation focused on water ecological environment protection, "stand in the water and watch the shore", as long as it is the "hole" that discharges the pollution into the Yellow River, it must be clear. It not only uses satellite remote sensing, drone aerial survey and other advanced technical means, but also organizes personnel to carry out on-site inspection on foot to achieve "full coverage" of the investigation. At the same time, organize business backbones to focus on key areas, sensitive areas, and difficult issues, so as to achieve "examination of every mouth and thorough investigation".

  Before the on-site investigation, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and various localities have completed the drone aerial survey and image interpretation work in the investigation area, involving 2,564 kilometers of shoreline of the Yellow River and Huangshui River, covering a range of 3,527 square kilometers, and the accuracy of aerial survey images is below 0.1 meters. , Providing precise targeting for this on-site investigation.

  At the same time, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has worked with various localities to develop an APP for the inspection and remediation of sewage outfalls in the Yellow River Basin, which can locate the outlets, find out according to maps, and accurately navigate, and efficiently complete the inspection tasks of "checking in points, selecting information, and uploading photos".
