"On August 25, two more Caucasian leopards will be released into the wild nature of North Ossetia, which will be delivered by air from the Leopard Restoration Center in the Caucasus of the Sochi National Park," the Ministry of Natural Resources of the republic quoted TASS as saying.

It is noted that the specialists of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences have predetermined individuals suitable for release in Ossetia according to certain characteristics, including genetic ones.

Earlier it was reported that a wolf cub rescued from a forest fire came out in the Chelyabinsk region.
