According to the official Weibo news of the Jiangxi Provincial Public Security Department, on August 16, the suspect in a series of homicides in Le'an County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, Zeng Chunliang was rounded up and arrested by the police near Hangqiao Village, Shandang Town, Le'an County. On August 19, the People's Procuratorate of Fengcheng City, Jiangxi Province approved the arrest of the criminal suspect Zeng Chunliang for intentional homicide. On the same day, Fengcheng Public Security Bureau arrested him according to law.

Earlier, according to a police report from Le'an, Jiangxi, on August 8, Zeng Chunliang sneaked into the home of Ms. Kang in Shandang Village, Shandang Town, Le'an County, killed her parents and hammered her 7-year-old nephew on the head, causing her nephew to be seriously injured and unconscious.
On August 13, according to the Le'an police report, a vicious criminal case occurred in Hoofang Village, Shandang Town, Le'an County, and a poverty alleviation cadre stationed in the village was killed. According to media reports, Zeng Chunliang suspected of escaping into the village committee to sleep and was bumped into him, and killed the poverty alleviation cadre of the county medical insurance bureau who was returning to work.
On August 16, the criminal suspect in a series of homicides in Le'an County, Fuzhou City, was rounded up and arrested by the police near Hangqiao Village, Shandang Town, Le'an County. In view of the seriousness of the case, the Jiangxi Provincial Public Security Department decided to raise the level of investigation, set up a task force composed of the provincial, municipal, and county public security organs, and assign the case to the Yichun Feng City Public Security Bureau.
On August 19, Fengcheng City People's Procuratorate approved the arrest of the criminal suspect Zeng Chunliang for intentional homicide. On the same day, Fengcheng Public Security Bureau arrested him according to law. At present, the case is still under investigation.
