Talal Maddah’s son announces the suspension of all his father’s songs

Abdullah, the son of the late artist Talal Maddah, sparked controversy on social media after announcing a formal complaint to stop broadcasting all his father's songs around the world until their status is legalized.
Abdullah Talal Maddah tweeted on his Twitter page, saying: “Many of the father’s songs are blocked by sbc and Mazzika in agreement with“ Golden Cassette ”as a distributor for the“ Arts Al Jazeera ”company, and since the topic has reached everyone saying my right online, in order to comfort them all and others. A complaint has been filed that all Talal Maddah's works worldwide will be suspended until they are resolved.
Abdullah stressed during a television statement and the Saudi newspaper "Okaz", his right to stop broadcasting his father's songs, saying: "It is my right to stop my father's songs anywhere they are broadcasted in and from, whether inside or outside Saudi Arabia, and on YouTube and other sites, and I will withdraw the songs. from the market".
He explained that the reason for this decision is: "The Saudi channel closed our channel," Tarab "on YouTube, because we took concerts by Talal Maddah on television, and put them on the channel by filing a complaint to YouTube, which led to the closure of the channel after five years of working on it.
He added: "We opened Talal TV channel with the efforts of a team loving Talal Maddah and his art, and we have worked on recording and editing most of his concerts, and over many years we have collected nearly 1500 recordings from several channels and concerts, while the number of those removed from our channel is that they are clips of the Saudi TV." And another 300 clips, so that we will be surprised after that, and within only two months, with two warnings from YouTube following the complaint of Mazzika. "
He continued: "I will not wait for a third warning until the channel is closed, and I will do it myself, especially since the channel does not generate financial income for me, and the only loser is a panegyric audience."
