Yunnan's Li-Ning Highway is blocked due to landslides on the Lijiang-Lugu Lake tourist loop

  Affected by continuous heavy rainfall, natural disasters such as landslides and rockfalls occurred in many sections of Li-Ning Highway in Lijiang City, Yunnan. On the morning of August 19, a landslide occurred again at K31+220M of Li-Ning Highway, the road was interrupted, and the transportation department continued to implement temporary traffic Control, is currently fully engaged in rescue insurance.

  According to the Lijiang Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, the Li-Ning Highway is a fast and large passage from the Old Town of Lijiang to the Lugu Lake Scenic Area, and is an important part of the local tourist circle. From 20 o'clock on August 18th, Li-Ning Highway will be fully controlled and banned. It cannot be opened to traffic temporarily.
