He has taken his first steps since his accident a year ago. The 6-year-old French boy, thrown from the 10th floor of Tate Modern in London in August 2019 by a British teenager, has started walking again, according to information spotted by Le Parisien .

Her parents gave her news on a GoFundMe page, which raised nearly 270,000 euros for her medical treatment. “He is able to walk a few meters, he even manages to climb one or two steps, when we help him. He spent the weekend with his parents for the first time and went to the beach, where "he was able to build sandcastles with a friend".

Life sentence

In this letter, her parents also indicated that her memory and respiratory system seem to be working better and better. The little boy had already been able to regain the use of speech at the end of the year. On August 4, 2019, aged six, he was pushed from the tenth floor of the Museum of Modern Art. He had fallen on a roof, about thirty meters below. He suffered a brain hemorrhage and multiple fractures, to the spine, legs and arms.

His attacker, Jonty Bravery, was sentenced to life in prison in late June in the UK. He was 17 years old at the time of the incident and was arrested after being surrounded by members of the public while awaiting the arrival of the police. Suffering from autism and personality disorders, he was taken care of by a specialized institution. According to the elements gathered during the investigation, he explained that he heard voices telling him to hurt or kill people. To investigators, he said he wanted "it to be on the news."
