The slogan of the fifth edition of the festival printed the works of the participants who embodied the concepts of travel and traveling from one place to another through kites, space missiles, and other works that are inspired by Dubai's forward-looking thinking and embodying beauty and creativity in various fields.

This session of "Dubai Canvas" links the arts that it offers to the surrounding environment, and as in every session, works that are inspired by Dubai are attended. They visualize the towers, the city environment and its nature, and the elements appear integrated and meet with the recipient's imagination to stimulate the creativity within him. This session was completed. With Dubai looking towards the future with action embodying the probe of hope and the journey to Mars.

This copy of Dubai Canvas is attended by the Spanish artist Juandres Vera, one of the pioneers of three-dimensional art, who is presenting a work entitled “Come fly with me”, in line with the theme of the cycle that is a reflection of the human ability to imagine and adapt, especially since flying here came as an alternative Travel, which was restricted due to the repercussions of the "Covid-19" crisis, which made the ambition to fly unrelated to time and place, exceeding the boundaries of the earth and sky and even reaching space.

Diversification in width

While the Serbian artist, Milan Katanic, participates in a performance show, in which he presents the method of drawing by using the color that is placed in a bowl and moves randomly over the painting by a fixed wire, drawing lines on the work that converge and diverge with the movement of the bowl, then he returns and uses a moving car via a control device. Colors crossed on the canvas.

The artist Katanic told Emirates Today: “I was keen to use this technique, because the colored lines that appear on the canvas, and after a process of continuous repetition, look very similar to the movement of airplanes, especially since we prohibited travel at this stage.” He explained that he started with this technique of drawing since he was in school, and after it became very well known on YouTube, he wanted to present it directly through a live show, with a variety of presentation methods, so he presented the sweater to which the technique was applied, in addition to using new machines. Including the car.

The Serbian artist stressed the importance of participating in this event for him in particular, as he resides in Dubai intermittently, considering that the work in front of the public carries many challenges, especially that when it merges with colors and the work of art prefers to be alone, and to be accompanied by his favorite music only, so he travels with Work to another planet.

He believed that the period of quarantine and the return to life is a distinct opportunity to present life forms again. People are happy with this return to normal life, even if it is in a different way, and this version of “Dubai Cannas” is an opportunity to express this return and celebrate the way of life through art, pointing out. He added that he will present special shows during the next two weeks to the public in Dubai.

I use new machines that the audience does not know, including a machine that was made especially for me, to finish My show is as if I were an integrated group.

She confirmed that she developed her passion for playing rhythm through a special piece called "Dream of Today", pointing out that she is very passionate about rare instruments, as she resorts to buying every new instrument in a modern way, and is the first to bring it to the Middle East, considering that her participation in « Dubai Canvas », special for her, especially that music and drawing are two sides of the same coin, so music is drawing and colors in another language.

Inas Halal: Everyone follows us

The Syrian artist Enas Halal considered that playing percussion instruments is not easier than other instruments, as some think, because the percussionist in the band controls the band just like the maestro, so everyone follows him by the rhythm that he imposes, and whoever has the queen of percussion is easier to play, but this does not mean the absence The note to be followed by the performer. She explained that the challenges of playing the drummer are the great physical effort, because the senses must be completely separated, as well as using the feet and hands at the same time. She added that her attachment to rhythm was due to her influence on her father, who was a drummer.

She saw that the musical performances to the audience in important public places, describing the rhythm specifically as moving people, and spreading an atmosphere of joy.
