Palestinian artist Muhammad Assaf, holder of the title “Arab Idol,” surprised his fans and fans by marrying a girl outside the artistic community.
He announced the marriage of Muhammad Assaf, his compatriot, singer and producer, Qassem Al-Najjar, through a photo that he collected on his official Facebook page, where he congratulated him on the happy marriage, expressing his joy at the presence of an occasion in 2020 amid the momentum of bad events on the countries of the world.
Qassem Al-Najjar said in his comment: “Finally, good news for 2020, I congratulate my friend and brother Muhammad Assaf on the occasion of his marriage, may God bless you and bring you together for good and happiness.”
And with the announcement of the marriage, social media was buzzing with videos of the wedding, which, according to social media activists, was said to have been held in Dubai.
Palestinian news sites said that Muhammad Assaf's parents traveled from Palestine to Dubai on a visit to Muhammad Assaf, and then came the Corona crisis, which prevented their return to Palestine.
She explained that Muhammad Assaf took advantage of their presence and held the wedding ceremony, which was limited to a number of family members and those close to the newlyweds only.
She confirmed that the girl holds the Palestinian nationality and is named Reem Odeh, while she indicated that Mohammed Assaf will reside in Dubai after marriage as well, due to the nature of his work and his parties that require freedom of travel.
It is noteworthy that Muhammad Assaf was previously associated with the Palestinian journalist Lina Qishawi, but their relationship did not last long, and Lina commented at that time on the reason for the annulment of the engagement: “When I got engaged I was working on television, and this opened the way for people to speak, even if I was not a well-known program presenter, even if it was not Muhammad.
