Heavy rains in Hebei, Shanxi, Henan and other places

  Yesterday, heavy rains occurred in parts of eastern Gansu, eastern Shaanxi, central and southern Shanxi, central and southern Hebei, northeastern Henan, western Shandong, eastern Liaoning, western Sichuan Basin, central and western Guangdong, southern Guangxi, southern Yunnan and other places. Shaanxi Local heavy rains (100-186 mm) in Weinan and Shangluo, Taiyuan and Linfen in Shanxi, Kaifeng and Shangqiu in Henan, Heze in Shandong, Chengdu and Mianyang in Sichuan, Shenzhen in Guangdong, Fangchenggang in Guangxi, etc. The maximum hourly rainfall in these areas is 50-106 mm.

Heavy rainfall in Huanghuai and other places in southern North China

  From the 6th to the 8th, there will be heavy rainfall in the eastern part of Northwest China, southern North China, Huanghuai, western and northern Jianghuai, Jianghan, western Sichuan Basin, etc., and some areas will experience heavy rains and local heavy rains. In addition, there were showers or thundershowers in southern South China, western and southern Yunnan, and heavy rain or torrential rain in some areas. The above areas are accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gales or hail.

  It is expected that from 08:00 on August 6 to 08:00 on August 7, some areas in southeastern Gansu, central and southern Shaanxi, southern North China, central and northern Huanghuai, western Sichuan Basin, southern Yunnan, and southern Guangxi will experience heavy rain. Among them, Henan There were heavy rainstorms (100-200 mm) in the east, central and western Shandong and other places. Some of the above areas are accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall (the maximum hourly rainfall is 30-50 mm, and the local area can exceed 70 mm), and there are strong convective weather such as thunderstorms. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow rainstorm warning at 06:00 on August 6 (see Figure 1).

Hot weather in Jiangnan Jianghuai and other places

  In the next three days, there will be high temperatures above 35°C in Jiangnan, Jianghuai, Jianghan, the central and eastern Sichuan Basin, and the southern Xinjiang Basin. The highest temperature in some areas can reach 37-39°C, and the local area can reach 40°C or more.

  From 08:00 on August 7 to 08:00 on August 8, there were moderate to heavy rains in parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, the southeastern part of Northwest China, most of Huanghuai, central and northern Jianghuai, northern Jianghan, eastern and southern parts of Southwest China, among which, Some areas in southeastern Shandong, southeastern Shaanxi, western and southern Henan, northern Jiangsu and Anhui, northern Hubei, southern Sichuan, and northeastern Yunnan have heavy rains or heavy rains (100-120 mm). There are 4 to 5 winds in parts of central and western Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula and other places (see Figure 3). The Bohai Sea and the northern part of the Yellow Sea will have easterly to northeasterly winds of magnitude 5-7 and gusts of magnitude 8.

  From 08:00 on August 8 to 08:00 on August 9, there were moderate to heavy rains in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, northwestern Heilongjiang, southern Huanghuai, most of Jianghuai, most of Jianghan, eastern and southern Southwest, and northwestern Jiangnan. Among them, there were heavy rains or heavy rains (100-110 mm) in parts of northern Jiangsu and Anhui, eastern and southern Hubei, and western Yunnan. There are 4 to 5 winds in parts of central and western Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula and other places (see Figure 4). There will be southerly winds of magnitude 6 to 7 in the central and southern parts of the Yellow Sea and the northern part of the East China Sea. In some areas, winds can reach magnitude 8 and gusts of magnitude 9 to 10.
