President Ochi has invited Hiroshima University to host the campus of Arizona State University Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management and will accept new students from August next year.

In response to this, Minister Hagita encouraged, “I am trying to establish a campus of an overseas university at a national university for the first time, so I want Hiroshima University to lead the way in a new direction.”

President Ochi said in a press conference, "I would like to further accelerate the internationalization of Hiroshima University. Arizona State University, known as an innovative university, is developing together with the area where the campus is located, so it is a viewpoint of regional revitalization. It also has great significance."
