  The center of the tropical depression after the weakening of Typhoon No. 4 this year, Hagupit, moved from Yancheng, Jiangsu Province to the western part of the Yellow Sea around 6 o'clock in the morning on the 5th, and then strengthened again to tropical storm level. Typhoon Hagupit is expected to move northeastward towards the west coast of the Korean Peninsula. It is expected that "Hagupit" will land on the coast from South Huanghai to South Ping An in the night of the 5th.

  The actual waves show that due to its impact, large waves of more than 3 meters have appeared in the middle of the Yellow Sea as of 14:00, and medium waves with an effective wave height of 1.5 meters have been detected in the coastal waters of Qingdao and Shidao.

  Affected by the "Hagupit", it is expected that from the afternoon of August 5 to the morning of August 6, there will be 30 to 60 centimeters of storm water increase along the coast of Liaoning and Shandong. The tidal level station in Qinhuangdao, Hebei, on the above shore section will have a high tide that reaches the local blue alert tide level on the night of the 5th. It is expected that from the night of August 5 to the morning of August 6, there will be large waves of 2.5 to 4.5 meters to the huge waves in the Yellow Sea; the coastal waters of eastern Shandong will have medium waves to large waves of 2 to 3 meters.

  The forecast shows that from 14:00 on August 5 to 14:00 on August 6, there will be 6-7 strong winds in the northwest of the East China Sea, most of the Yellow Sea, Zhoushan Islands, the coast of southeastern Jiangsu, and the east coast of the Shandong Peninsula. There are 8 levels of wind and 9-10 gusts.
