"Hagupit" entered the East China Sea on August 3, and strengthened from a tropical storm to a severe tropical storm at 5 o'clock that day, and from a severe tropical storm to a typhoon at 14:00. The maximum possibility is from the night of the 3rd to the early morning of the 4th. It landed along the coast from Wenling, Zhejiang to Cangnan, and it only took two days from formation to landing.
