Since its publication Thursday, the keyword #jecherchesociety has flourished on Twitter, where Internet users document out-of-stock newsstands or on the contrary the points of sale where the magazine is available. Mentioning "a craze close to madness", SoPress boss Franck Annese posted his cell phone number on Twitter with the message: "to all broadcasters call me or send me SMS to tell me how much you want to receive from Society issues we reprint and deliver the points of sale on Thursday morning ”.

He told Le Figaro newspaper that 3,800 points of sale were out of stock all over France, and that the magazine usually sold 47,000 copies on average, including 11,000 at newsagents.
