At a medical institution in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo, it has been confirmed that 6 people, including patients in their 50s to 80s and medical staff, are infected with the new coronavirus.

On the 15th of this month, a male patient in his 80s using the "Koiwa Enomoto Clinic" in Edogawa Ward complained of symptoms such as fever and underwent a PCR test, and the infection was confirmed on the 17th.

By the 20th, three more male patients in their 60s and 80s and two females in their 50s who were all medical workers were confirmed to have been infected at the clinic.

According to the Edogawa Public Health Center, the route of the infection is not known in detail, but there are dozens of people suspected of being in heavy contact, so they will be sequentially tested for PCR in the future.

It means that the clinic will continue to operate after reducing the system, such as closing some floors and limiting outpatient clinics.
