Three new cases were cured and discharged, including 2 from Pakistan and 1 from the UK.
The case is of Chinese nationality, working in the Philippines. He departed from the Philippines on July 15 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on the same day. After entering the customs, he was intensively isolated and observed. Symptoms appeared during the period. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings, etc., were diagnosed as confirmed cases.
This imported confirmed case has been transferred to a designated medical institution for treatment, and 32 close contacts with the flight have been tracked, all of which have been implemented for centralized isolation and observation.
