July 13, 1925 in the city of Ryazhsk, Ryazan province, the national artist of Russia Boris Novikov was born. He served in the Mossovet Theater and the metropolitan Satire Theater, actively starred in films, and also voiced characters in dozens of cartoons - his voice, for example, says the postman Pechkin. In the filmography of the actor, such paintings as “Quiet Don”, “White Dew”, “Don Story”, “Shadows disappear at noon” and many others. Boris Novikov played mostly minor characters, but did it so vividly that he often overshadowed the leading actors.
