Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Derkach provoked a new scandal, inviting the public to familiarize themselves with two new audio recordings of telephone conversations, which, presumably, were conducted by ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. If the films are authentic, then we have an example of the amazing flexibility of the former Ukrainian leader, who, just two months after the Debaltsev defeat, conducts a conversation with Vladimir Putin, desperately trying to please him. He congratulates the Russian president on the Day of Workers' Solidarity, tries to joke hard, and ends the conversation with an expression of gratitude: “Good, Vladimir Vladimirovich. Shake your hand. Thank you so much!"

For right-wing radicals who consider Poroshenko to be their undisputed leader, his exaggerated courtesy while communicating with Putin is unpleasant news. A politician who certifies himself as the worst enemy of Russia, as it turns out, knows how to walk on his hind legs in front of the president of a country that he allegedly hates. What a bitter disappointment!

In fact, in 2015, Putin and Poroshenko spoke regularly. The Ukrainian president then looked like a politician who has many business interests connecting with Russia. In addition, the then Russian ambassador to Ukraine, Mikhail Zurabov, who was his personal friend, most likely assured the Kremlin that Poroshenko was fully negotiable. Finally, all contacts were closed only in 2016, when it became clear that Kiev had chosen the most radical anti-Russian policy.

On the second record, it is alleged that the same Poroshenko and former US Vice President Joe Biden are talking. We are talking about the events of August 2016, when a group of Ukrainian saboteurs tried to infiltrate the Crimea. Biden is extremely dissatisfied with the operation. According to him, Washington does not support such methods, considering only political means appropriate and acceptable. In addition, European countries may now have reason to accuse Kiev of escalating the conflict. Biden asks his interlocutor if he was aware of the preparation of the sabotage act. Poroshenko refuses to answer, but promises that this will not happen again.

The most interesting thing in this conversation is the name of the organizer of the military sortie in the Crimea. Poroshenko tells Biden that the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Valery Kondratyuk was preparing a sabotage. But he cannot fire him for now, as it would look like a confession of guilt. After a couple of months, Kondratyuk was nevertheless dismissed.

However, Vladimir Zelensky decided that the honored general was still quite capable of serving the homeland, and appointed him the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.

Deputy Andrei Derkach claims in this regard that Poroshenko, in collusion with the special services, is preparing to carry out a coup in the fall in order to “oust the legally elected president”. The SVR, led by Kondratyuk, will become an obedient instrument in his hands. Rumors about a new "Maidan" to be held in September-October have been circulating in Ukraine for a long time.

Poroshenko is no longer able to embarrass and unsettle. This time, he used a proven tactic. In the statement of his party “European Solidarity”, both films are called fakes: “Conversation” with Putin is the same roughly mounted, carefully compiled counterfeit, as well as alleged conversations with Biden. ” However, even if it had become reliably known that the records are genuine, it did not cause any particular damage to the ex-president’s reputation. According to opinion polls, he is already one of the most unpopular politicians. He is an antihero for 75 percent of Ukrainian citizens.

The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, commented on the conversation between presumably Poroshenko and Biden. According to him, "the released record once again confirms what we are constantly talking about: terrorism is part of the state policy of the Kiev regime, regardless of personalities." He recalled that in 2016, the American ambassador to Ukraine, Jeffrey Payet, said that the United States did not have evidence of Kiev preparing provocations in Crimea. “In fact, as follows from the record, they all knew. And this is not news for us either, ”Aksyonov noted.

In conclusion, we can once again point out one obvious fact. If the conversation between Poroshenko and Biden really took place, this means that the degree of independence of the Ukrainian leadership was minimal. The wrong move - and pulling from the American vice president follows. And the head of Ukraine is forced to make excuses and vow to promise that this will not happen again. This is how the external government of the country looks, which without any particular effort can be called an American colony.
