Affected by the continuous heavy rainfall, at 9:37 am on July 10, a flash flood occurred in Longyan Township, Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County, Hechi City, Guangxi, causing severe flooding in the streets of Longyan Community, Longyan Township, and many people who were too late to evacuate were besieged by the flood.
Rescue personnel use the form of drone search and shouting to quickly determine the specific location of the trapped person, and use boat boat rescue and wading rescue to quickly transfer the trapped person to a safe area. After more than an hour of intensive rescue, 35 people in the danger zone were successfully evacuated.
At present, the local government has informed the downstream Changmei Township to open the flood gate, the waterlogging level in Longyan Township has gradually decreased, and the trapped people around the streets of Longyan Community have been transferred and evacuated.
