At the meeting, Li Ning, deputy director and researcher of the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center, introduced that food production, processing and sales, if the surrounding environment is contaminated by the new corona virus, or the food practitioners themselves are infected with the new corona virus, they may create pollution. Recently, all regions have strengthened the monitoring of new coronavirus in food and other samples. As of July 7, nearly 60,000 samples of food and other samples reported by Zhejiang, Yunnan, Henan, Shandong, Ningxia and other places had negative results in the detection of new coronavirus nucleic acids.
