Brexit, the never-ending puzzle
By: Daniel Desesquelle
Brexit, again and again ... The United Kingdom left the European Union on January 31, 2020. But, what relationship does London intend to build with the 27 countries of the Union? Narrow or, on the contrary, distended? Despite the rounds of negotiations that follow, no one really knows ... starting with the British.
Publicity
But, the clock is ticking, for the moment, Great Britain continues to apply European rules and still has access to the single market, but this situation will end on December 31, 2020. There is therefore very little time left to find a agreement and lack of compromise, the “no deal” would be necessary, in other words it is the rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO) which would apply with their high customs duties and border controls.
