In the early morning of June 28, director Tian Zhuangzhuang issued a document saying that his mother, the famous Chinese film performance artist Yu Lan, died in Beijing at the age of 99.
Yu Lan, formerly known as Pei Wen, was born in 1921. She once appeared in the role of "Sister Jiang" in "Eternal Life in Fire" and won the title of "Most Beautiful Struggle" in 2019. Yu Lan starred in films such as "Dragons Gully", "Linjiapuzi", "Looking for Jackie" and "Those Women" before his lifetime.
