The Minister of Solidarity and Health Olivier Véran announced Wednesday a revaluation of six billion euros of wages at the hospital. For the president of the Federation of private hospitalization, Lamine Gharbi, it must concern "first of all the nurses, the nursing assistants and then the whole chain of care".

INTERVIEW

This is one of the responses to the global hospital crisis: the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, proposed to unions on Wednesday an envelope of six billion euros to upgrade the salaries of non-medical hospital staff, in part of the "Ségur de la santé". On Europe 1, Thursday evening, the president of the Federation of private hospitalization, Lamine Gharbi, is satisfied with such an announcement but requests a "differentiation" according to the trades.

For the time being, the distribution of this envelope decided by the government has not been specified. According to the official, "first of all, the nurses, the carers and then the whole chain of care" must be concerned. "This is part of the conventional negotiation that we are going to conduct."
