The return of the favorite dunce of the French. After a first cinema outing on February 5, the Ducobu student , third installment, is now available on DVD. It also appears in dark rooms. The feature film, inspired by the comic strip by Godi and Zidrou, offers an original story co-written by Elie Semoun, who also directed the film and embodied no less than three characters. "I like to make the characters, from the Classified Ads", he confides on Europe 1. "But it's funny, it's enjoyable for an actor to make several characters."

A success with 1.5 million spectators
"Making a film, making three characters, directing actors is a challenge, something I had never done," says the humorist. The Ducobu film series is a real success: the first two parts have exceeded one million admissions. The last one reaches 1.5 million spectators.

They thus found Ducobu, an inveterate cheater, but also Mr. Latouche, the old-fashioned professor and the intelligent Léonie Gratin, who are facing a crisis situation. The Saint-Potache school is in danger and has no more money. So to find them, Ducobu opts for an original method: a song contest, in which he will use his talents as a cheater.
For Elie Semoun, it is a timeless feature film that mixes eras. "A professor like Latouche, there are more. Guys in coats, who yell with a little Nazi methods with children, that does not exist. At the same time, there are cell phones, Instagram, YouTube ... is completely apart. "
A fourth component in preparation
The comedian, behind the camera for this feature film, made children turn. Small actors not always easy to manage. "It takes a lot of concentration because they are not at all focused, sometimes they don't even understand what they are saying. There is an entire scene that I put in the trash because they played it so much bad, but they didn't understand what they were doing so we had to explain it to them. And when I got what I wanted it was great. It's a miracle, "says Elie Semoun.
The director is still ready to retry the adventure ... since the fourth part of the adventures of Ducobu is being written.
