Health crisis, economic crisis, why not try to escape by opening a book? In our meeting “Band of pods”, which talks about native podcasts, today we delve into literature, with those who write. A selection of programs obviously not exhaustive.

Recommendations from enthusiasts

PILE: What book to read in case of a hangover, or to have fun in bed? It's Pile, the podcast. For each situation, Claire Jéhanno invites you to discover a book. Chronicles of around five minutes that immerse you in a book, an atmosphere, an intrigue… To be found every two weeks. There are already 45 episodes, you will undoubtedly find your happiness.

Book club, Louie Media: This podcast offers you to help "renew your library", no less. How's it going ? Passionate readers at home show off their library. And they come back to the book that mattered to her at some point in their lives. The Book Club, to be found every other Tuesday. And it's not just a podcast. A book club meets 15 days after the episode to talk about it, "in real life" ...

Interviews with authors

Books and me: A podcast from the general station with Vincent Malone on the microphone. Interviews with authors of about fifteen minutes, to discover personalities in a different light. Who is the person behind the keyboard? Listen for example to the interview with Jean-Michel Jarre, amazing. Books and me, a podcast to find every two weeks.

The White Page, by Emilie Deseliène. With the authors, she evokes their book, but also their journey, their creative process, their writing. We talk about work ... But also about all the ups and downs of the writing profession, the difficulties too. You will find there ideas of readings and good meetings, as with Lola Nicolle. The blank page podcast can be found about once a month.

People who read are happier, from LCI podcast: interviews of forty minutes conducted by Jérôme Vermelin on the pleasure of reading. The guests are writers, but also singers, politicians, actors. You will listen to Michel Bussi, but also Constance Debré, or Yasmina Khadra. Already 43 episodes that give balm to the heart.

3 small points, a podcast led by the passionate Julie and Alix. Their interviews with authors, authors, artists too, are informal and removed. Again, great encounters, with for example Claire Berest or the violinist Renaud Capuçon. Thirty-minute episodes that make you want to read.
